Our History
United Charities Building
Built and gifted by John Stewart Kennedy in 1893, the United Charities Building has long served as the nerve center of social reform.
The building sheltered organizations that pioneered new standards, including the first kindergarten in the United Sates, and New York City’s first visiting nurse service – laying a foundation that endures to this day.
Now, the tradition continues. Our tenants are driving progresses, leading innovation in AI, healthcare, and fintech.
